Dichterliebe

Music by Shumann. Text by Heine

This special version is performed by a soprano and a tenor accompanied by a guitar.

Everything is told through the perceptions and emotions of the protagonists.

The encounter and the disagreement will undo them little by little.

We reconstruct dramaturgy that goes through two ways of telling an unrequited love, two ways of feeling the same

love disenchantment told from the bodies of a woman and a man. The story is affected by repetitions,

numbers sung as duets, numbers that start again in the voice of one or other of the interpreters,

resonances of one of the numbers that are left in suspense, and small parts that will sound like a leitmotiv.

All forms that were not raised in the original cycle. Two paths of pain, where the encounter and the disagreement

will also be narrated within the chosen structure.

Three people on stage. He and she in their intimate spaces. The instrumentalist as a witness,

listening and inducing them to express what they feel.

Everything is told through the perceptions and emotions of the protagonists.

The encounter and the disagreement will undo them little by little.
